how to make noob kimchi hot pot

as my first blog told you i had kimchi hot pot. but what it didnt say was that me and my sister attempted to make it and comparing to the actual method and our method of making it.... was a fail but overall was still pretty good since we both didnt know how to make it and didnt consider using the internet as resource.
(i will post pictures as soon as i know how to XD)
how to make kimchi hot pot the noob way

ingredients
water (half a pot full)
pork belly(in this case pork ribs since it was 8 something at night and no normal butcher would be open)
sugar
salt
msg
chilli pepper
instant kimchi

method:
1. prepare a pot of water and wait till boil. chop up pork into a shape of desire (in this case cubes)
2. when water is boiled, add pork and wait until cooked.
3. then add kimchi and stir occassionally
4. add in sugar, salt and msg and seasoned to desire.
5. once seasoned, pour into a bowl and enjoy.

and here is the actual method of making kimchi hot pot (courtesy of http://dolsotbibimbap.com/kimchi-hot-pot/)

Serves 4
ingredients
4 pork ribs (about 1 lb/500 g total)

1/2 cups beef or vegetable stock or water
1 block (450 g) firm tofu, cut into 8 pieces1 green onion (scallion), cut into 2 in. (5 cm) pieces

method:
With a sharp knife, make several cuts along the meaty side of the ribs.In a large pot, add the sesame oil and place over low heat.Add the ribs, garlic and kimchi and stir-fry for 10 minutes.Add the stock and tofu and simmer for 20 minutes.Sprinkle on the green onion.Serve in large soup bowls.

the reviews that were received in the noob hot pot were:
dad: was alright
mum: stared at it and never ate it
sister 1(pikaboo): its not sour enough
sister 2:(miyu): we stuffed up
sister 1's bf: it needs more meat
me: it was good enough for me XD

we never try to make it the actual way cause we had to finish the failed batch first so i cant really write a my families review on it but it came off a proper korean website so it has to be good. well enjoy ^^"
